China’s logistics index stays in expansion as new orders edge up
新订单指数回升 物流业景气指数保持在扩张区间
China’s logistics sector remained in expansion territory in July, according to data from the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing. The overall logistics prosperity index registered 50.4%, a slight dip of 0.2 percentage points from June but still above the 50% threshold that separates expansion from contraction. The new orders index rose 0.2 points to 50.5%, marking its fifth straight monthly increase, which analysts at the China Logistics Information Center attributed largely to growing demand for multimodal transport.
