China's Ministry of National Defense announced that border defense forces from China, Russia, and Mongolia will conduct the 'Border Defense Cooperation 2026' joint exercise in early September. The drill focuses on preventing and combating reconnaissance and sabotage activities in border areas, including joint planning, searching, strikes, arrests, and handovers. This is the second iteration of the series, aimed at strengthening strategic mutual trust and border security cooperation.
