China’s total intelligent computing capacity reaches 2.45 million PFLOPS by end of July

Xinhua reports that as of July 2026, China’s total intelligent computing capacity (智算) reached 2.45 million PFLOPS (FP16), according to a statement by the National Data Administration at the 2026 China International Big Data Industry Expo. Eight national computing hubs and three computing-electricity coordinated development zones account for over 85% of this capacity. 1.45 million PFLOPS of intelligent computing power has been brought under a national monitoring and scheduling platform.
