China's National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) has urgently allocated 200 million yuan from the central budget to support emergency recovery in Zhejiang province after Typhoon Bailu made landfall. The storm hit the coastal cities of Taizhou and Wenzhou on the evening of August 9, causing severe damage. The funds are earmarked for restoring damaged roads, water infrastructure, schools, and hospitals to quickly return life to normal.
