Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Macao cargo station handles 80,000 trips in three years

The Macao cross-border cargo transfer station on the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge has processed over 80,000 vehicle trips, nearly 250,000 tons of goods, and more than 40,000 bookings since opening in August 2023, according to Macao's Economic and Technological Development Bureau. The facility, which operates around the clock, is described as the only direct land route for freight between Hong Kong and Macao, and usage grew about 40% in 2025 compared to the previous year.
